The new and improved Central Scouting Services (CSS) Player and Scout Database is currently in development and is scheduled to relaunch in September 2025. This next-generation platform is being meticulously designed to provide an enhanced experience for players, coaches, scouts, team personnel, and advisors by offering more robust features, greater accessibility, and streamlined communication.
Upon release, access to the database will be exclusively available to registered users. This ensures that all profiles, data, and interactions are secure, verified, and relevant to those actively engaged in the development and recruitment process. Only registered players will have the ability to create, manage, and update their personal profiles—making their information viewable and searchable by approved scouts and team representatives within the system.
Players are invited to register for free basic membership, which includes the ability to maintain a basic profile. This profile will feature key information such as the player’s name, photo, location, and a direct link to their Elite Prospects profile. Additionally, players will benefit from built-in messaging capabilities, allowing coaches and scouts to initiate direct communication within the platform in a secure and structured environment.
Professionals such as coaches, scouts, team managers, agents, and advisors may also register for database access. Each request will be reviewed and verified to ensure the integrity of the scouting environment. Once approved, these users will gain access to advanced search tools, scouting reports, communication features, and other premium resources—available through an annual subscription.
The redesigned CSS database is part of our ongoing commitment to improving the transparency, connectivity, and efficiency of the hockey scouting and recruitment process on a global scale. More information on registration and access procedures will be provided as the launch date approaches.
